Nice family owned professionally manacured campground. Beautiful area built inside a golf course. Well stocked office and store with new and modern connections and facilities. Walmart, Lowes and great restaurant choices in nearby Americus. We looked for but did not see former President Carter while there...but maybe we will our next visit!
Great spot! Great golf! And historical sites not far. Wanna give it a poor rating so nobody finds the best place we have been, but it's too great to do that. This is a place we will continue to visit. Staff is great and accommodating. Gnats are bad but if you go camping accordingly, bug spray, etc.., it's no problem. I give it 5 stars. And will make this my travel destination.
