Old depression era WPA ballpark built in the late 1930's. Pro baseball was played here until the mid 1950s and again briefly in 2002. Today it's used by the Americus-Sumter High School baseball team. The field appears to be in excellent shape while the grandstand could use a little work and a lot of paint. Still a great place to take in a baseball game.
