I do not recommend the breakfast buffet - just walk or ride to the Waffle House next door.
When I entered the room for the first time, it was extremely humid and had a musty odor despite the wall unit being on. It was extremely unpleasant and did not make me feel warm and welcomed at all. The room also appeared to not have been cleaned for quite some time because of visible cobwebs near the wall mirrors and corners of the room.
There were also visible damages throughout the entire room that could have easily been fixed with paint or drywall patch. I checked another room of someone who was in my party and their room too was ungodly humid and carried a foul smell.
I would never stay here again nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. This made my stay in Americus Georgia unpleasant.
We stayed at this hotel and deeply regretted it. The hotel was understaffed; both front desk and restaurant.
Great price and location. Very friendly staff. Rooms are very comfortable with a lot of amenities such as coffee and coffee maker in room. Iron and ironing board. Refrigerator and microwave. Cable and the remote works.
On a more positive note, the staff was pleasant and the food was much better than I thought it would be.
This motel is a convenient 15-minute drive to Plains, GA. It's fine for an overnight stay if you are going back and forth to see Plains and hear President Carter teach. The staff is welcoming and helpful.
The staff here are great. You are greeted with a warm and professional smiling receptionist to handle your every need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's a pool to enjoy a swim or just to get in a little sun. The in-house soul food restaurant is one of the best and is frequented by everyone. I recommend staying here and the price is right.
Apparently this hotel is popular among truckers. My room was upstairs on the courtyard side and after about 5am there was a constant rumble from the trucks in the lot behind me. The room was clean and had a fridge. The hotel management was very friendly and even had toiletries at the front desk for no added cost. Breakfast is not free but with the money you will pay for it with their partner discount. Overall this is a solid 3 perhaps even a 3.5
